B'nai Brith Canada brings together Jewish men and women in a fellowship to serve the Jewish community, and to combat anti-Semitism, bigotry and racism in Canada and abroad.
In terms of monitoring and countering hate on the Internet, B'nai Brith has taken the lead: in 1998, it organized an international symposium to provide a forum for Canadian and international experts to assess the problem of online hate, and to develop strategies to counter it.
The organization has produced educational resources to help parents and teachers recognize the dangers of organized hate in Canada. These resources provide information on neo-Nazi groups, recruitment techniques, and warning signs of youth involvement with hate groups.
The League for Human Rights and the Institute for International Affairs both operate under the umbrella of B'nai Brith.
