The Radio Television News Directors Association of Canada (RTNDA Canada) is a national industry association for radio and TV journalists. The Association speaks for the leaders of Canada's radio and television news operations on issues that affect newsrooms. The RTNDA fosters education, career development, and national and regional awards recognition.
The RTNDA developed a Code of Ethics to ensure fairness and accuracy in broadcast news, which Canadian broadcasters must follow. Last revised in June 2000, the code has proved to be a valuable tool to broadcast journalists - especially in terms of responding to consumer concerns.
