Canadians access the Internet from work, school, libraries and home, with the last category the largest (67 per cent). A June '97 Angus Reid survey found 23 per cent of Canadians using the Net from home, up from 16 per cent in '96 and 8 per cent in '95.
School access was highest among those under 24, a Pollara survey found.
Comquest found that connections from home went from 10 per cent in '96 to 17 per cent in '97, and those from work went from 13 per cent to 17 per cent.
