Safe Passage - Introduction

With many thousands of students using the Internet every day it's inevitable that they will sometimes encounter inappropriate, offensive or illegal online content, as well as situations that make them feel uncomfortable, harassed or even threatened.

The Safe Passage section has been redesigned and updated with the most current information available to help educators better understand the activities and cyber environments kids enjoy and the benefits as well as the potential risks of the Internet. This section also includes classroom resources to help students develop the critical thinking skills they need to make their Internet experiences safe and rewarding.
